Wood-Mizer Sawmill Operator's Seat
Orange Wood-Mizer portable sawmill with seat and man stacking boards next to it

A Wood-Mizer Sawmill Operator's Seat can be added to all 1990 and newer Wood-Mizer Sawmills. From the seat, the operator can hydraulically load a log, turn a log, raise and lower the cutting head, and move along with the blade as a log is being cut. (Rolling logs onto the lifter arms and removing the cut boards from the mill platform typically require a second person.) Although the operator's seat reduces the maximum cutting length by 25 inches, it can be easily removed to cut longer logs.

Caution symbol Caution Notes: Tasks like tree felling, brush clearing, log splitting, and wood cutting are dangerous, and utmost caution should be used to protect the operator and bystanders. Follow the recommendations of the equipment/tool manufacturer for proper use and for necessary protective equipment needed for safe operation.
