Hydraulically Operated Wide Steps
The driver’s-seat-controlled hydraulic cylinder, underneath the four-step access platform, raises the steps as a unit up to parallel with the platform.

Marion, IA, farmer Jerome Trzil made Hydraulically Operated Wide Steps to improve access to his older International Hydro 100 tractor. They are raised and lowered from the driver's seat by a hydraulic cylinder operating off the tractor's hydraulic system. (Trzil only mounts and dismounts when the engine is shut off.) In the raised position, the steps are nearly parallel to the tractor's frame and are out of the way of normal operations.
