Flexible Sidewall Added Step
Four flexible cables and eight clamps that attach the added step to the tractor three-step ladder.

As an alternative to a spring-loaded telescoping ladder, Boggstown, IN, farmer Dick Welty used a cable and clamps to make a Flexible Sidewall Added Step on his Caterpillar Challenger tractor. It provides a certain amount of "give" when the step comes in contact with the ground.
