Mechanic's Toolbox on Casters
An adult male in a wheelchair retrieves an item from one of the drawers of this easy-to-access, right-height tool chest.

With this Customized Mechanic's Toolbox on Casters, Osceola, IA, farmer Randy Brown can easily access the hand tools and miscellaneous supplies stored in it from his wheelchair. It's low enough for him to reach into the top drawers and all compartments. The commercially available toolbox can be purchased fitted with either standard wheels or larger diameter, lower-resistance wheels (which Brown feels were worth the added cost). The swivel casters he put on all four wheel locations increased the box's mobility.
