Rope/Pulley Door Closer
Leaving his farm shop, an adult male in a power wheelchair yanks the grab ring at the end of the rope, which runs up to mechanism he made that pulls the door shut.

Pocahontas, IA, rancher Chuck Wheatly rigged up a simple Rope/Pulley Door Closer using 6 feet of rope, an eye bolt, a rope pulley, a steel elbow bracket, and a small rubber wheel from a wheel- chair, which serves as a grab ring. The eye bolt was fitted through a hole drilled in the top corner of the door; and the pulley was bolted to the elbow bracket, which had been mounted on the building. The rope was then attached to the eye bolt, threaded through the top of the pulley, and fastened to the rubber-wheel grab ring.
