Radio-Controlled Hog-Sorting Gate
Seen is the metal bi-fold gate hinged to the pen’s gate posts and a portion of the hose that runs from a compressed-air tank to the air cylinder attached to the gate.

"Porky's Pal" Radio-Controlled Hog-Sorting Gate lets a person by himself sort pigs by opening/ closing it from inside the pen. The 2-foot-wide, bi-fold, stainless steel gate attaches to one end of the existing pen gate and to the gate post. Using a guiding board with attached wireless transmitter, the operator presses a button to open the gate as a pig approaches. The gate is equipped with an air cylinder operated by an electrically controlled valve that runs off a 12-volt rechargeable battery. Air can be supplied by a portable air tank or an air line running the length of the building.
