Soda Bottle Calf Respirator
Cut-off bottom of the clear plastic soda bottle inserted over the calf’s nose.

Cheap yet effective for calving barn emergencies, J.C. of Wyoming uses a Soda Bottle Calf Respirator (i.e., liter plastic soda bottle with the bottom cut out), which he places over the newborn's nose and blows in the end. He screws the cap back on when not in use to keep the end clean.
