A Pickup Dump Bed Lift Kit allows one to convert the vehicle's factory bed into a dump bed that reportedly rises 45 degrees or more in about 10 seconds. Once installed, the lift unit is concealed under the bed, and the bed remains at original height. The kit reportedly includes everything needed for installation (e.g., hydraulic cylinder, pump, all electrical components, lift members, mounting hardware, etc.). There are two installation options: by one's self or by local installers certified by the kit manufacturers.
