Pasture Hay Feeder
Loosened end portion of big-square-bale hay dropping off the converted manure spreader that’s being pulled by a pickup truck.

A Missouri farmer converted a ground-driven manure spreader into a Pasture Hay Feeder that allows him to feed large square hay bales without leaving his pickup truck. In making the conversion, he re-moved everything mechanical from an old spreader except the chain web and axle-driven gears; he then reinforced the frame with angle iron and installed a more solid floor. To feed the hay, he loads a bale onto the spreader, cuts the bale's strings, pulls the spreader to the desired location, then engages the drive gears to spread the loosened hay as the truck moves along.
