BinTrac Bin Weighing System
Left pic of BinTrac Bin Weighing System components. Rt pic showing schematic of components installed on 2 grain bins.

As the name implies, a BinTrac Bin Weighing System tells how much feed is in one's hopper bin(s) and/or how much has just been removed-because it weighs the bin(s), not the contents. To accomplish that task, the system consists of four components. (1) Load-Cell Bracket Assemblies (one affixed to each leg) simultaneously lift the bin 1/2 inch up off its concrete pad, allowing it to be weighed. (2) Indicator Module displays the bin-plus-contents weight every 24 hours for up to four days; one Indicator can service up to four bins. (3) Smart-Summing Box collects and forwards the weight data to the Indicator Module; it also minimizes load cell assemblies cabling and provides lightning-surge protection. (4) Power Supply Module ensures optimum electrical isolation (12.6 VDC regulated voltage).
