Hose Grip Handle
Left pic of a right hand holding a garden hose with a hose grip handle. Rt pic of a homemade hose grip handle made of PVC pipe on a hose.

Water hoses used for watering plants, washing equipment, or watering livestock are often held for long periods of time. This is difficult for people who have weakened hands or cannot endure the cold temperature of the hose. A Hose Grip Handle is designed to help a worker or gardener with reduced hand strength to grip a hose, especially those that are cold or slippery. Usually affixed directly behind the nozzle, this simple handle (one being store-bought, the other homemade) allows the hose to be gripped securely in addition to keeping the hands clean.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $10
