EZ-Step Stair-Climbing Cane
Left pic of EZ-Step Stair-Climbing Cane. Rt pic of man using EZ-Step Stair-Climbing Cane to climb into a vehicle.

The EZ-Step Stair-Climbing Cane is basically a standard cane with a plastic platform attached to the bottom. This mobility aid essentially reduces the height of each riser to be climbed/descended and reduces the range of motion required to flex the knee when ascending and/or descending. It is designed to provide an increased measure of safety, stability, and security for anyone who has difficulty with stairs, curbs, vehicle accessing, etc. Weighing approximately 2 pounds, it can also serve as a quad cane. Other features: hand strap for storing, used either right- or left-handed, adjustable from between 29 to 39 inches, and non-skid/slip diamond-shaped tread surface with rubber grommet feet. It can reportedly support up to 350 pounds.
