Freestanding Portable Fence Panels
2 free-standing portable fence panels out in a field

Ranchers with impairments can use a tractor to handle Freestanding Portable Fence Panels to make corrals on pasture or to herd cattle around the farm without lifting and carrying gates. Held upright by perpendicular supports, multiple panels (made of metal tubing and rails) hook together via chains and tab connectors to form a corral that provides a barrier to cattle or other livestock. Picked up and moved by tractor, the panels are 5 to 6 feet tall, vary from 10 to 30 feet long, and weigh anywhere from 400 to 800 pounds. The two-per-panel elongated supports can be detached or rotated to allow for easier storage. (Optional gates can be added.)

Estimated Cost Cost range: $300 and up, depending primarily on length
