ROPS-Mounted Rearview Mirror
Man on orange Kubota tractor with a ROPS-mounted mirror on the right side.

A ROPS-Mounted Rearview Mirror allows for a clear view of what's behind the tractor without having to turn head/body to do so. Often when doing field work, one must look behind the tractor (or off-road vehicle) to check on the towed implement or other piece of equipment. This constant twisting of head and body can stress neck and back for hours thereafter. The mirror comes with U-bolts and clamping plate to be affixed directly onto the ROPS. A home-made bracket can also be made with U-bolts and steel plate to bolt a standard tractor extension mirror onto a ROPS as shown in the picture. (Never drill or cut a ROPS to mount it; doing so renders the ROPS structurally unsound to support the machine and protect the driver in a roll-over incident.)
