This Homemade Fabric-Wrap Gripping Aid is designed to help someone with limited hand/finger strength hold securely a hand tool, long-handle tool, equipment lever, etc., without fear of it slipping. The wrap is a length of cloth webbing or leather about 2 inches wide. To properly affix, it's first wrapped around the wrist, next around the knuckles of the fist that's closed over the tool handle, then again around the wrapped wrist, and finally back over the top of the hand. The longer the length of fabric, the more often it can be wrapped to secure the hand to the tool. Step-by-step instructions are included on the website below.
