For one with a leg-lifting limitation, Homemade Additional Step Treads on the original cab-access ladder may be the most appropriate solution vs. replacing the ladder. The extra treads (either made or purchased) can simply be affixed half way between the ladder's existing steps OR some of the existing steps removed and re-spaced to accommodate the extra treads.
