Gate Holder
The piece of pipe welded to the metal plate mounted on the intercepting post, with the rebar’s lower portion slipped into pipe and its U-shaped upper portion dropped over the fence’s topmost board.

Designed by Wesley, AR, farmer Loy Watson, the Gate Holder is a simple device that holds a gate open and prevents wind from blowing it closed. It consists of a piece of rebar bent in a "U" shape, with one prong of the "U" slid through a vertical pipe mounted on a post that's been set in the proper location to intercept the open gate. When the gate strikes the post, the other prong of the "U" drops over the gate top to hold it wide open.
