Work Pants with Knee Pad Pockets
Brown work pants with extra material covering the knees and forming a pocket for knee pads

Because working on one's knees can be uncomfortable, especially for workers with leg impairments, and results in wear and tear of work pants, knee pads serve as a worthy solution. While knee pads are available as strap-ons, becoming more common are work pants with built-in pads or pants with "pockets" into which the pads are inserted. The latter allow one to select the pads' protective system (e.g., gel, foam, fabric) and thickness and to replace the pads when need be. Instructions for making your own work pants with knee pad pockets are also available.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $50-$75

Limitations Limitations Addressed by Product: Lower extremity
