Step-In Fence Posts
Green metal fence post slanting up from lft to rt used to hold wire fencing with small step just above portion that goes into ground. Below it on rt is metal rod style post with at top to pass wire through and step to push into the ground.

Lightweight and self-insulating, Step-In Fence Posts are what is often used in temporary electric-fencing situations, such as controlled grazing/pasture management. Many are made of polypropylene (although some are fiberglass), and they range from 38 to 64 inches tall (depending on type of livestock) and contain up to ten wire holders spaced about 6 inches apart. Others are entirely metal with an insulated "pigtail" loop at the top. For all posts, the sharp metal spike end and small foot-plate are designed to make it easy to plant the post into the ground.
