With his Homemade Pickup Bed Cargo Shuttle, Valley Station (KY) farmer Mickey Arnold is able to place/retrieve items from the front of the truck bed without climbing up into the bed. The device consists of a platform resting on 2-inch rollers that fit between the bed-floor ribs and a T-handle that folds down when the platform is at the tailgate. Because the platform plus handle (when extended) are as long as the bed, neither the device nor the cargo will move once the tailgate is closed.
