Homemade C-Clamp Lit Torch Holder
C-clamp fastened to welding table with a 6-inch flat iron piece welded on top of C-clamp. 2 pieces of half-inch pipe welded on end of flat bar-1 vertically-other horizontally to hold welding torch nozzle

This Homemade C-Clamp Lit Torch Holder gives Pete Krusch of Cambridge, VT, a safe place to temporarily put his torch while aligning or adjusting the pieces to be welded or cut. The device is simply two small pieces of 1/2-inch ID pipe welded onto the end of a 6-inch-long piece of flat iron, which he welded to the top of a C-clamp. The length of the flat iron keeps the torch at a safe distance from whatever the holder is clamped to. (The ID pipe pieces go in two directions so the device can be clamped on either a vertical or a horizontal surface.)
