Puffy Paint as a Labeling Aid
Puffy Paint as a Labeling Aid

Puffy Paint as a Labeling Aid can be a more permanent, more versatile, and cheaper alternative to self-adhesive bump-dot stickers in assisting one with low vision to safely use a variety of items. Readily available at stores that carry crafting materials, Puffy Paint, which comes in a squeeze tube, maintains a raised shape, and provides the same 3-D effect as bump dots but without the concern of accidental removal. It can be used to create a wide variety of labels on many types of surfaces; for example, it can be applied next to, over, or outlining the item's activating buttons in varying shapes (e.g., circle, rectangle, triangle, cross, 'X', 'V', inverted 'V') so as to identify or denote.
