With the Four-Zone Digital Water Timer, which has four high-flow valves, one is able to not only water in four different areas simultaneously, but also select for each area up to four separate start times (including specific time of day, day of the week, and duration). The programmed watering schedule can be paused for up to 7 days (e.g., in case of rain). Also, a manual mode allows one to turn on the water whenever needed, bypassing the system.
