Radar-Type Level Sensor for Bulk Solids and Liquids
Radar-Type Level Sensor for Bulk Solids and Liquids

The Radar-Type Level Sensor for Bulk Solids and Liquids and Liquids functions like a light sensor. When the medium gets in the way of the radar (microwave) beam between the transmitter and the receiver, the signal is attenuated, with the change detected by the receiver and converted into a switching signal. This type level sensor is ideal for point-level detection of both bulk solids and liquids. Other advantages include: detection of high-purity fluids right through the vessel wall (no openings required); microwave barrier never comes in contact with the medium, so the sensor can't get soiled; and reportedly wear- and maintenance-free operation over long periods.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $2,000-$4,000
