Manual Beehive Lifter/Mover
Manual Beehive Lifter/Mover

This two-wheeled Beehive Lifter/Mover has reportedly allowed many older people and persons with back problems to continue with beekeeping by reducing both time and effort. According to the manufacturer, one needs exert only 1X of force to lift to move 10X of hive load. To use, place the tool parallel to the hive; push it so the gripper arms on both side are in contact with the hive; lower the fastening lever so arms squeeze the hive; with the jacking or cranking handle, raise the lift; then lean the tools back to make it stand on the steel frame or to transport it elsewhere. The wheels can be adjusted wider or narrower, as desired, to accommodate the travel terrain.
