Ductless Mini-Split Heating/Cooling System
Ductless Mini-Split Heating/Cooling System

A Ductless Mini-Split Heating/Cooling System is designed to allow one to control the temperature in individual rooms or spaces. It can be a good choice for areas (like farm shops) where installing ductwork is not feasible and/or continual heating-cooling is not required. As combination heat pump and air conditioner, the Mini-Split has two main components: an outdoor compressor/condenser and an indoor air-handling unit (evaporator). Installation usually requires only a 3-inch hole through a wall for the conduit, which houses power and communication cables, copper tubing, and condensation drain line, that links the outdoor and indoor units.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $950-$3,500, primarily depending on rated output

Limitations Limitations Addressed by Product: Lower extremity, Strength/endurance, Respiratory
