Manual Uprooting Tool
Manual Uprooting Tool

Basically a set of powerful jaws attached to a handle, the Manual Uprooting Tool utilizes one's weight (not strength) to remove unwanted woody plants, such as buckthorn, Scotch broom, honeysuckle, privet-roots and all. To operate, fit the jaws around the trunk at ground level, hold down with one foot as pressure is applied, then pull the handle back as the jaws' uprooting force dislodge the roots. Available in varying handle lengths, jaw widths, special features (e.g., ratcheting), depending on make/model.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $90-$190

Limitations Limitations Addressed by Product: Upper extremity, Strength/endurance, Back
