Rexfly One-Arm Casting System

The Rexfly One-Arm Casting System is designed for the fly fisherman who may upper extremity limitations. The system involves a strapped-on chest harness that has an attachment for holding the reel and a vertically adjusted projection for inserting the hollow rod handle. When fishing, one removes the reel from the rod and locks it onto the harness attachment, where it still functions but now its weight and bulkiness have been removed from the rod, thus lessening the chances of casting fatigue in one's arm and/or hand. At any time, the reel and rod can be re-attached by simply sliding the rod back on the reel, which unlocks it from the chest harness.
