Vehicle Pedal Extenders
Vehicle Pedal Extenders

Made of steel with a rubber pad, Vehicle Pedal Extenders clamp to the original pedals (accelerator, brake, and/or clutch) and are screw-adjustable to lengths of 2 to 6 inches and heights of 3 to 4 inches. Most are designed with an offset bracket to prevent the tipping problem that can occur with block-type extenders. On many, the gas pedal has a pivot point where it attaches to the lever. (Some models are portable or fold down out of the way to accommodate a driver who does not need the extension.)

Estimated Cost Cost range: $50-$150, depending on model
