The Glide 'n Go XR Tall Truck Transfer Lift Seat is designed to allow one to get from wheelchair or scooter up to and access the seat of a tall truck and tractor. The lift, which is bracket-mounted behind the cab door (drive or passenger side), operates by hand-held remote that runs off of the vehicle's battery and has an emergency back-up system for safe exit should the battery die. The user lowers the seat to wheelchair/scooter level, transfers over into it, rides it up to vehicle-seat height, then manually rotates it inward to where easy transfer can be made.
