The UpRoot Weed and Root Remover is designed to remove invasive plants from the lawn without one having to bend over, kneel, or dig them out, or having to use herbicides. The tool features a serrated stainless-steel claw 'head' that, when inserted into the ground around the weed, grabs it by the root. (Insertion is made by stepping on the tool's foot platform.) Once extracted, pushing the eject mechanism on the handle opens the head to release the weed. It is made from aluminum and has a 40-inch-long handle.
