Hired Hand Fence Stretcher
Hired Hand Fence Stretcher

The Hired Hand Fence Stretcher (Model 415) is used primarily for splicing, stapling, and repositioning wire, including high-tensile, barbed, and smooth. It is designed with a stationary hook at each end of the bar plus a ratcheting traveling hook that allows for an infinite length of wire to be stretched. When that ratcheting hook is released to get another bite, the stationary hooks hold the wire in place, leaving both hands free to make a splice or attach wire to post. The controlled-release ratchet also helps reduce line breakage.
