Log Jack
Log Jack

Strong yet lightweight, the Log Jack (also known as a Timber Jack) is a combination log lifter, log holder, log roller, and sometimes a post remover. The tool consists of a hook and toe support at the end of a long handle. As a holder, it self-adjusts to the log diameter; as a jack, it grabs and lifts logs up to 20 inches diameter. Most models included are both chain with delta ring and snap-on stabilizer feet for muddy or uneven terrain. (For some makes, an available option is a hitch post that allows the tool to work off a Class 3 receiver hitch.)

Estimated Cost Cost range: $65-$130, depending on make and model
