Homemade Nut Scoop
Homemade Nut Scoop

William Yewell's Homemade Nut Scoop consists of a 36-inch-long, 4-inch-diameter, thin-walled plastic pipe that's capped at one end and an A-shaped aluminum-pipe handle bolted to each end of the tube. Yewell, of Ogden, IA, simply pulls the device along the ground to scoop up the nuts without having to bend over. It holds about 40 walnuts before having to be emptied.
