Needle-Free Livestock Injection System
Needle-Free Livestock Injection System

Powered by either compressed air or a carbon dioxide cartridge, the Needle-Free Livestock Injection System by Pulse propels variable doses of medication (from 0.5 to 2.5 ml) directly through the skin and into the muscle tissue of swine, cattle, or sheep. This reduces the risk of injection-site abscesses or infection and eliminates the possibility of disease transmission from contaminated needles or needle fragments ending up in the meat. The system includes a pneumatic amplifier unit and a handpiece, which is a manually reset pressure-on-demand device activated by simply pressing a button. A 24-ounce carbon dioxide cartridge supplies the power to inject up to 300 animals. (Photo shows only the handpiece.)
