The 79-series Meter-Man Distance Measuring Wheel, with its 25-inch-diameter polystyrene wheel, is designed for use on large acreages and rough terrain. There are both mechanical- and electronic-counter models: the mechanicals measuring in feet-tenths, feet-inches, meters-decimeters, and chains-chain hundredths; the electronic measuring in feet-inches, feet-hundredths, and meters-centimeters. All models feature pistol grip, adjustable twist-and-lock extending handles, gear-driven counter with push-button reset and magnifying lens for easy readability, and kickstand molded into the counter housing.
