Self-Headlocking Sheep/Goat Feeder
Self-Headlocking Sheep/Goat Feeder

Designed and built by a local welding shop, Jacob Ploekelman's Self-Headlocking Sheep/Goat Feeder not only allows the Stetsonville, WI, farmer to safely 'work' the animals while they eat, but also reduces feed waste. When the feeder's eight headlocks (four on each side) are open, Pleockman flips a lever, which causes them to lock individually when the animal puts its head through to feed.
