Regional AgrAbility events are a great way to network with AgrAbility peers and other professionals that have a role in assisting our clients.
The regional event in Shipshewana will focus on working with individuals who are part of Old Order cultures. There will be a panel of farmers that will talk about their culture and give insights on how best to work within their culture. There will be presentations on building relationships, assistive technology that is appropriate, and experiences that AgrAbility staff have had with clients from those cultures.
We will also be visiting a couple farms, farm market, and/or a furniture factory.
Rooms have been blocked at the Farmstead Inn for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Please call the Farmstead Inn at 260-768-4595 and ask for the AgrAbility block by May 18th to make your reservation.
Conference Agenda coming soon. The conference will run from 12:30 on Tuesday to 5:00 pm on Wednesday.
