The Toolbox Assistive Technology Database logo

Acknowledgments

We first thank the agricultural producers who have shared with us over the past 30 years their unique assistive technology solutions. In addition, we acknowledge the many producers and commercial manufacturers who have sent photos, drawings, videos, and descriptions of entries for The Toolbox . External financial support for the planning, layout, and production of both the printed and electronic versions of The Toolbox during the past 17 years has been greatly appreciated. This support has included major grants and gifts from:

  • United States Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (Grant #H133A90004-90)
  • United States Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration (Grant #H128A01027)
  • Deere and Company
  • Successful Farming magazine

This material is based upon work supported by the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, under Agreement No. 91-EDFA-1-0001 and Agreement No. 96-EDFA-1-0033.

Former BNG staff members Dean Brusnighan, Barry Delks, John Schweitzer, Ned Stoller, and Therese Willkomm birthed The TOOLBOX by documenting many types of assistive technology that have been included or expanded upon in the database.

We also appreciate the efforts of BNG staff members Gail Deboy, Larry Evans, Denise Heath, Ed Kirkpatrick, Craig Pendl, and Steve Swain for their assistance in developing and producing this database. Thanks go to Dan Annarino of Purdue University's Agricultural Communication Service for his technical advice and assistance with graphics. Special thanks to Dawn Minns for her design work on the graphics and in other areas of the database.
