Davis, SD, rancher Harlan Temple uses two forms of Seating Supports (a Footboard and a Padded Brace) in his John Deere 4650 to ensure he remains properly positioned in the seat. The Footboard prevents his feet from sliding under the brake and clutch pedals, where they could be injured. The Padded Brace (see figure) is bolted to the instrument panel dashboard and is four-way adjustable (up-down and inout); his knees pressed against this brace prevent him from sliding out of Padded Brace the seat.
