Brute Autonomous Catch Chute
Brute Autonomous Catch Chute

Fitted with sensors and computer software, the Brute Autonomous Catch Chute is designed to provide a hand-free, minimum-labor way to process numerous cattle (e.g., vaccinate, implant, ear-tag). The chute's sensors recognize the animal's entry, close the headgate, and employ a gentle squeeze. Four pre-settings, programmed according to animal size and weight, set parameters for the headgate and squeeze parts of the chute, but reportedly can be instantaneously changed if working a mixed group. Once the animal is released and clears the chute, the software resets for the next animal to enter. Additional options include remote controller, a weighing feature, and a pour-on (de-wormer) application feature.
