PTO-Powered Potato Digger
PTO-Powered Potato Digger

The two-wheeled PTO-Powered Potato Digger is designed for the small, category I tractor with a three-point linkage and power-take-off. The implement consists of an adjustable-depth vibrating plowshare (i.e., shovel) that digs beneath the potatoes and conveys them onto a vibrating-sieve grid, which reportedly knocks off the accompanying dirt then deposits the potatoes on top of the ground in a single row. On all vibrating parts of the digger there are anti-vibration rubber brushes that are designed to increase operating stability as well as protect the potatoes from cuts and scars.
