Nicole Schroeder
Responsibilities:
The operations administrator oversees the day-to-day functions of the AgrAbility Project, providing leadership in the development and delivery of key initiatives. Responsibilities also include proposal preparation, program monitoring, data management, travel coordination, and project documentation. Facilitating communication across departments and with external stakeholders, along with supporting both digital and print communications for AgrAbility’s outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
Nicole brings a deep-rooted connection to agriculture through her involvement in her family’s sixth generation farming operation, where she has contributed for over 26 years. For 14 of those years, she managed records and communications as the farm secretary. Together with her husband and four children, she remains actively involved in the family farm in White County Indiana, with their son now contributing as the next generation in the family’s farming legacy.
Nicole joined the AgrAbility team in 2024. Prior to that, she served as a supervisor for Purdue University’s North Central Nursing Clinics (NCNC) from 2017-2024, where she helped deliver healthcare to rural and underserved communities. Her experience in both agriculture and rural health gives her a strong foundation for serving AgrAbility’s mission. She is skilled in communication, organization, event coordination that support farmers, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
