Machine-Mounted Disc Tree Cutter
Left pic of Machine-Mounted Disc Tree Cutter mounted to bucket of a machine. Rt Pic shows Machine-Mounted Disc Tree Cutter mounted on extended arms on a skid steer.

This Machine-Mounted Disc Tree Cutter reportedly cuts off, flush with the ground, trees that measure up to 8 inches thick. The two models (4-inch and 8-inch) do so by using only the vehicle's forward motion. Requiring no hydraulics, PTO, etc., or having to stop and wait for jaws to open/close, the device can reportedly cut down a couple hundred trees an hour. The 4-inch model attaches to a skid steer or tractor loader bucket and to an ATV via custom-made bracket; the 8-inch model is designed as a loader-bucket attachment only. The two up-front circular blades cut through the trunk from each side, while the rear blade shears off the stump.
