Plugged into a compatible (i.e., same brand) weather radio, the Weather Alert Strobe Light Unit is designed to flash a pulsating, bright light whenever the radio receives a NOAA-issued inclement weather warning. The strobe light unit, powered by standard AA or AAA batteries, comes with cable and jack; some models also include an audio alert.
