Northwest States Outreach Specialist
Martin Frick
Responsibilities: The Northwest States Outreach Specialist visits farmers and ranchers with disabilities in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Wyoming and assists with public awareness/education activities in those states.
Qualifications: Dr. Martin (Marty) Frick is a retired agricultural educator who started his career as a high school agriculture teacher/FFA advisor in his home state of Missouri. He later worked with Dr. Bill Field at Purdue University in conducting research on secondary injuries to disabled farmers and ranchers. In 1994, Marty joined the faculty of Montana State University as an assistant professor and became a full professor in 2007. Marty also served in the United States Coast Guard from 1972 to 1976.
