Dig Rig Shovel Attachment

The Dig Rig Shovel Attachment is a molded-plastic “foot plate” that fits over the top edge of the shovel blade. Measuring 8 1/2 inches wide with a 3 1/4-inch lip, it provides significantly more leverage for digging than does the blade’s narrow top ledge. This better distributes foot pressure and reduces foot, ankle, leg, and back stress. The unit clamps onto the shovel handle just above the blade, using a pair of hose clamps. Round point and square point shovels with the Dig Rig already attached are also available.
