Objects are secured in the Posi Lock Hydraulic Bench Vise by simply stepping on a pedal, which is connected to a air-over hydraulic pump that provides up to 5 tons of clamping power. The cast-steel vise, which can operate in both horizontal and vertical positions, has jaws 8 inches wide that open up 8 inches. Hydraulic pressure closes the jaws, while a spring-return opens them. Other features include: 10,000 psi gauge, air-control valve for variable speed and added safety, 180-degree rotating swivel base, replaceable serrated top jaw, built-in pipe jaw (holds 3/8- to 3-inch pipe), magnetic jaw clips, and 10-foot hydraulic hose.
