U-Latch Universal Gate Latch

U-Latch Universal Gate Latch, which accommodates various sizes and styles of link chain, lets one close and secure a tubular gate with one hand. Made of zinc-coated steel, it bolts to 1 5/8- to 2-inch-diameter tubes on gates and panels, either vertically (safest for livestock) or horizontally (best for quick release). The design allows for latching post gaps, tight fits, sagging gates, two gates together, and (in the case of panels) uneven ground conditions. Installs with a wrench.
