Swing-Away Portable Auger

Long, portable grain augers can be raised and lowered for storage or transport. Typically, this is done with a hand-cranked winch, which is difficult to operate (especially on larger augers or conveyors) and could be dangerous if the crank is allowed to free-wheel. One solution is the hydraulic- or power-take-off-driven Swing-Away Portable Auger, which is raised and lowered by the tractor’s hydraulic power. The hopper at the bottom of the auger can swing from side to side and be positioned under the bed of a center-unloading grain truck or wagon with minimal effort.
